Wolfgang Hohl - General Manager

Wolfgang is a mining engineer with over 10 years of experience in open-pit and underground mines.
After graduation in 2006, he spent several years as university assistant at the University of Leoben in Austria. He gained significant experience in this position, both as lecturer in an academic environment and as project manager and project engineer for domestic and international projects. Additionally, he held the position as lab manager with the responsibilty for the modernization and expansion of the geotechnical lab of the University of Leoben.
He acquired his license as Chartered Engineer in 2016 and opened his consultant firm for mining engineering in 2017.
His expertise on the field of mining engineering covers all relevant technical and legal topics.
- Open-pit and underground mine design
- Stability analysis of slopes and underground openings under consideration of the special conditions encountered in a mining environment.
- Photogrammetrical surveys of open-pit mines and underground openings
- Geometrical and rock mechanical 3D-Modelling of complex situations in open-pit and underground mines.
- Legal proceedings to acquire mining permits (exclusively in Austria)
Based on the extensive experience gained as lab-manager, additional expertise can be provided on the subject of lab-management of geotechnical labs.
